Scott Nelson, DPM office is located in North Garland with a specialization in the foot and ankle care. All aspects of medical and surgical treatment for the foot and ankle, such as Ingrown Toenails, Heel Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Bunions, Hammertoes, Neuromas, and even fungal toenails will be treated.

Dr. Nelson takes a conservative approach with his patients. He prefers to use the least invasive approach whenever possible, but is highly skilled in surgical techniques. He has performed over 1500 foot and ankle surgical procedures and assisted many other patients with non-surgical foot and ankle needs. His successful participation in private practice since June 2005 in the southern portion of the DFW metroplex has lead him to this new location so he can better serve Garland, Firewheel, Plano, Sachse, Richardson, Rowlett, Rockwall, Royce City and
North Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Nelson graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in May 2001. He served with the U.S. government during 4 years of residency training in South Dakota Black Hills region and finishing in Denver, Colorado for a 3-year surgical program.

Dr. Nelson’s caring and respectful approach to his patients is rooting in his desire to serve others and his dedication to his marriage and 3 young boys. He loves spending time with them and taking them along with him on his favorite recreational activities, which include hunting, fishing, skiing, and most recently bicycle riding.
